SPIRAL WOUND GASKET BASIC TYPE ( R )
* Basic Type ( R )
Spiral Wound gasket are made of thin metal hoop and
non-metalic cushioning filler, these are wound
into a spiral shape by welding at the begining and
end of the spiral winding.
This type is used for Male & Famale (M&F) type
flanges and Tongue and Groove type
flanges, but is not recomended for raised face
of ordinary piping flanges.
