 SHEET PTFE 

Characteristic : 

PTFE Gasket Sheet are made from pure 100% virgin PTFE without added reinforcement or fillers. It is suitable for pipe flanges, heat exchangers, process equipment, pumps and agitator flanges, bearing pads, etc.  Characteristic PTFE or Teflon is especially known for its chemical inertness and resistance to a wide range of temperatures. It is used to make seals, bushings and insides of pipes.

APPLICATIONS : 

Modified PTFE materials allow the benefi ts of PTFE to be utilised at higher compressive loads and higher temperatures. Expanding the PTFE, for example, produces a softer material with a higher strength than conventional PTFE. Whereas the addition of a fi ller such as silica, silicon carbide or barium sulphate lends the material better hot and cold fl ow resistance without negatively aff ecting the chemical resistance.
