Double Jacketed Gasket
These are metal-coated gaskets that are manufactured using Non-asbestos plates, Graphite sheets and Teflon as the filler and Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Copper, f-5 and various alloy materials as the coating materials. These gaskets may be manufactured in special shapes such as oval and rectangular shapes as well as circular shape and branch gaskets may also be manufactured for heat exchangers, this kind is used in wide range such as pipe flanges and the joints of machines and heat-exhchangers. The demand for special type gaskets, which have swelling graphite tape on their surfaces to improve the sealing property, is in increasing trend.
